Almost Real, Acrylic on Card Boxes, Canvas, 3.5m x 1.5m – 35cm x 50cm, 3 Pieces, 2006
This is simple way of expressing the search for the third dimension on a plane of two dimensions. An artist trying to paint cardboard boxes on a canvas inevitably becomes a part of the work he is trying to perform. The artist becomes the creator of the work as well as the subject and the spectator of the piece of art that he creates. The work itself creates a chaotic link between the artist and the spectator and subsequently becomes exposed to a third eye, that is, the other spectators.
